Finance Division: Divisional Secretary
The Finance and Administration Division provides a centralized financial accounting and administration service to the entire organization. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Divisional Secretary is responsible for efficient secretarial an administration service to the Finance Division. Daily activities will include but are not limited to:
• Providing an efficient and professional front-line service for the Finance Division;
• Secretarial functions include screening of telephone calls, typing of correspondence, monthly reports, diary management, travel arrangements and accommodation bookings;
• Administrative functions such as general procurement for the Finance department, ordering and distributing stationery
• Typing of Annual Financial Statements, Agendas and other financial statements.
• Ensuring that confidentiality and effectiveness of all Finance tasks and objectives are maintained;
• Excellent planning and prioritising skills as well as efficient paper/systems management skills;
• Supporting the finance service provided by the Finance division.
Essential for this role:
• A clear credit and no criminal record;
• A three year recognized Secretarial Diploma with a minimum of three years relevant experience in a corporate environment;
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word together
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, supported by an ability to interact with internal and external customers at different levels within the industry;
• Ability to work under pressure with stringent deadlines
