The key objective of the Crop Performance & Management Programme is to enable sustainable and increasingly profitable use of resources to produce and deliver quality sugarcane to the mill. It achieves this by designing situation-specific best management practices for:
Variety use
Soil use
Water use
Harvest and transport systems
Chemical and nutrient use
